As we sit in His presence we are transformed

The intensive includes a full time schedule that doesn’t allow for a job; you would be responsible for securing your meals, bills & other expenses, and it is expected that interns have enough funds in advance before being accepted.

FAQs

what is the cost of the intensive?

The tuition is $300. Applicants are required to pay the $50 application fee. Also, your own food, housing, bills, transportation and other personal expenses are not included in the program cost, but are your responsibility. You are responsible for having these funds and expenses secured before attending the intensive in order to be considered for acceptance.

what is required to be accepted in the program?

You are asked to agree to guidelines and abide by it for the duration of the intensive; our staff are held to these same standards to help us to live above reproach and serve the Lord well. We ask all of you to have a working phone for communication, provide your own reliable transportation, housing, expenses saved up, and to meet the requirements laid out in our application process.

can I attend the intensive and work or go to school at the same time?

The Intensive is a full-time commitment for 10 weeks, so we do not allow for you to have other part-time or full-time commitments such as work or school during the program. The many aspects of the program offered will require a 40 hour work week, which make it unmanageable for you to take on other commitments. We want you to have the energy, time, and focus to make the most out of this season as well as balance rest and other priorities in your life.

is housing provided?

Currently the housing we provide is in the form of host homes. Our intensive team works with you to coordinate with other believers, that are usually in our spiritual family, to host you for 10 weeks and provide a room for about $350 a month plus a security deposit. The full amount of rent for 3 months is due on the day interns move in.

Gatekeepers Intensives (young adult: ages 18-25) are offered once a year in the Summer for 10 weeks. And GateCity Intensives (ages 18+) are held once a year in the Winter for 12 weeks.

what are the age limits?
